A Breakfast Cafe Inspired by a Beach Loving Duck Who Flew South for the Winters
& Retired in the Quaint Town of Orange Beach, Alabama

Featuring Southern Hospitality

Established in 2003, this local hot spot prepares breakfast favorites and serves them all day long with traditional lunch specials from 11am – 2pm.  Experience a one of a kind local flavor while diving into a plate of two eggs cooked to order, grits, country ham steak and a side stack of buttermilk pancakes.

New owners, Michelle Deerman and Mike Hudgens, embarked on this island diner in 2014 introducing outrageous mouthwatering flavors like Banana Stuffed French Toast paired with butter pecan rum sauce and Creole Grit Cakes with Garlic Toast, a must have weekend specialty and a mouthful of heaven!

Bloody Mary’s, champagne cocktails and a specialty drink menu offer a premium cocktail selection along with wine and ice-cold beer to quench your thirst.  If looking for something on the cooler old-fashioned side, try one of our homemade milkshakes, chocolate, vanilla or strawberry, finished with what better than whip cream and a cherry on top.

Locally Sourced

Supporting sustainable agriculture, neighboring businesses and talented artist is one of the many modern influences introduced to this landmark diner. Juicy hand-pattied burgers prepared with pure Angus beef and piled high with your choice of fixins including an egg to order, are supplied by the popular butcher at The Meat Mart and Shrimp Po Boys are piled high with fresh gulf shrimp supplied by the locally owned Blalock Seafood & Specialty Market.  The soft yellow walls are decorated not only with the SEC colors of Auburn and Alabama, but with the creative works of local artist for sale.
